4th of July in McMinnville

July 4 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 pm

If you want to experience a quintessential, postcard-perfect Independence Day, McMinnville is exactly where you need to be on Saturday, July 4th. We have the entire day mapped out for you from sunrise to fireworks:

  • 7:30 AM: Lace up for the 45th Annual Stars & Stripes 5k Run / Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run right on Main Street.

  • 8:30 AM – Noon: The Downtown McMinnville 4th of July Celebration officially kicks off. Explore patriotic vendor booths, enjoy local entertainment, and cheer on the crowd-favorite Main Street Bathtub Races.

  • 9:30 AM: Watch the Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville’s annual Yankee Doodle Parade roll down Main Street, featuring beautifully decorated bikes, wagons, and strollers (Lineup starts at 9:15 AM).

  • 5:00 PM: Head over to the Milner Recreation Center complex for the city’s Independence Day Celebration. Food trucks open early, Gilley Pool is open, and there is plenty of room for family fun.

  • 6:00 PM: The special holiday edition of Main Street Live! begins at the Milner Center with food trucks and a free live concert.

  • 9:00 PM (Dark): The massive city fireworks show launches over the recreation center complex to cap off the holiday.
